ARMY 🪜 DARKNESS

Army of Darkness (1992) is the third film in Sam Raimi's Evil Dead series. Bruce Campbell returns as Ash, the hapless hero of the first two films, who is hurled back in time to 1300 A.D. England with his shotgun, his chainsaw hand, and his '73 Oldsmobile. To get home, he must retrieve the Necronomicon. To be sure, AoD isn't actually scary. It plays more like a medieval action comedy than a horror film. But with all its spooky tropes, it belongs on any good list of Halloween movies.

Theme: Scary movie season

Scary movie season is upon us! 👻 I'm not much of a fan of horror movies, as I get grossed out pretty easily. But I try to see a few every year. This year I finally caught up with The Thing, which was, as everyone said it was, phenomenal. Here are a few spooky movies that I like, and a few others that I've been meaning to catch up with.
