LEATHER 🪜 PANTS

Lederhosen, German for “leather pants,” are traditional knee-length or short leather pants originating from the Alpine regions of Central Europe. Despite (or because of) their popularity, in 1913 the Archbishop of Munich officially declared them “immoral.”

Despite its name, Oktoberfest, a two-week-long autumnal celebration of Bavarian cuisine, beer, and culture, takes place mostly in September. It starts on the first Saturday on or after September 15th and runs to the first Sunday in October.
