Before they transitioned to purple and white, Northwestern’s official colors were black and gold, a pairing later deemed too close to Princeton’s black and orange.

I graduated from Northwestern University in 1998, with a degree in Computer Science, though I spent most of my time there designing for the newspaper, The Daily Northwestern. Every few months since graduating, I open up the latest NU alumni magazine with an eye out for the names of folks I once knew. I'm thrilled to say that now I'm one of those names, thanks to this profile of me by Diana Babineau.
