A question you may be asking yourself is "isn't this just a contest for speed solvers?" The answer is an emphatic no. I'm like how my friend Ben put it:
Much like a marathon, a crossword tournament is not so much about 'winning' as it is the unique experience and camaraderie. It’s a celebratory gathering of like-minded people. All types of solver are in the room, beginners are welcome and people enjoy it regardless of skill level.
In addition to the five main puzzle-solving events, my friend Wil Zambole and I are running a short, fun, crossword-themed game in between the main event and the finals, for all competitors. Should be a blast.
