Mystery Trivia #1.3 [April 21]

Our first Mystery Trivia nights have gone so well, we're doing one more time before we move on to Mystery Trivia #2. This is the last time you will be able to play this set!

Mystery Trivia Night #1 will be Tuesday, April 21st at The Western Bar & Kitchen, at 4301 N. Western Ave, Chicago.

This isn't your standard pub trivia. Take it from Melinda who attended in March:

You might be wondering: why pay $15/person when we can go to free pub trivia? Without giving away too much—because figuring out how each puzzle worked was part of the fun—what Sandy is putting together has almost nothing in common with bog-standard pub trivia. If you like the daily Raddle, there’s more where that came from, and this is where you find it.

What I really loved about the Mystery League's trivia night is that each round is unique and encourages different ways of thinking. Instead of just rewarding those who have a memory for facts, it lets everyone on your team shine in their way. Our team had so much fun working together and getting to show off our varied (and sometimes surprising) knowledge in everything from literature to celebrity faces to cover songs.

This event includes six rounds over two hours, including a new round built off my daily word game, Raddle. A ticket — for a four-player team — is $60.

Puzzled Pint: Beetles [April 14]
