CABIN 🪜 WOODS

The Cabin in the Woods (2012) is the directorial debut of Drew Goddard, who co-wrote it with Joss Whedon. Five college friends head to a remote cabin for a weekend getaway, a setup that looks like every slasher movie ever made. But something else is going on, which is both funny and gruesome. The movie deconstructs horror clichés while also reveling in them.

Theme: Scary movie season

This year I finally caught up with The Thing, which was, as everyone said it was, phenomenal. Here are a few spooky movies that I like, and a few others that I've been meaning to catch up with.
