🗝 Puzzle in a building 🏢 Escape with Zelda

Happy 2017, the first prime year since 2011, and the last until 2027. MIT Mystery Hunt is just a few days away, and for the first time in my life, I’m going. Can’t believe it took me this long. If you’ll be there too, let’s find a way to high five as we scurry in different directions across campus.

Meanwhile, we’ve sold out three Creatures on the Loose! events. At this rate, there’ll definitely be more. If you’d like to have us put the game on privately for you, hit reply and let me know. The game works great for groups of 5 to 50 people.

Take a famous 20th century author. Combine a common nickname for his first name with the first letter of his last name, and the result will be the name of a retail store. What names are these?

Zelda gets the SCRAP Real Escape Game treatment

Real Escape Games by SCRAP - Defenders of the Triforce - Los Angeles [Review] - Room Escape Artist
It’s dangerous to go alone…but awfully crowded in groups of six. Location: Los Angeles, CA* Date played: February 12, 2017 Team size: 6; we recommend 6 Duration: 60 minutes Price: $30 per ticket early bird, $35 regular price, $40 at the door; might vary by city Story & setting The story was reworked…

There’s little explanation about how this game will work, but SCRAP’s got a record of putting on a good show. This isn’t a room escape, but it is a puzzle game. Your team will be in a room, solving the same game as lots of others. Tickets for Seattle, Chicago, New York and Houston go on sale Jan 24.
